Rubem Toledo paints, sculpts, illustrates and draws. His work has been exhibited in museums such as the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the textile museum at the Louvre and the museum at the Fashion Institute of Technology. He has also produced murals for an exhibition, curated by Richard Martin, on the shifting wasitline in dress at the Costume Institute.
